Is Roadworthy official, or affiliated with DVSA?
No โ Roadworthy is independent and not affiliated with, or endorsed by, DVSA or any government body. The tools are based on DVSA's publicly published Categorisation of Vehicle Defects, so the verdicts reflect the same reference examiners use. They are a guide, not legal advice โ always check against the current official guidance.
Does it cover vans and trailers too?
Yes. The defect checker covers HGVs over 3.5t, vans up to 3.5t, and trailers, with the guidance adjusted for each.
Do I have to sign up or pay to try it?
No. You get three defect checks and a printable roadside card free, with no account needed. Full unlock is a one-off ยฃ2.99 โ no subscription.
Is my payment safe?
Yes. Payments are handled entirely by trusted providers (Payhip / Etsy) on their own secure pages โ Roadworthy never sees or stores your card details.
Can I suggest a tool or a guide?
Please do โ the roadmap is shaped by what real drivers and operators actually need. That's the whole point of building this in the cab.
